I am not a fan of all those modern sounds in music, loops and samples are not my thing. But in Jon Christopher’s hands they sound like another instrument, not only that, an instrument played by a classy musician. His voice is deep and it's impossible not to pay attention to his singing. The songs have interesting lyrics and arrangements are equally great - those modern touches suit Jon’s style perfectly. Some people think that Joe Stone is the biggest thing that happened to soul music recently. Well, they should listen to Jon Christopher and think again.

The vocals, the composition and the passion all blend so seamlessly to create this wonderful CD Jon sings with unguarded feelings. The moment you hear his voice, you can sense the open and raw emotion of every note. From the playful sounds of “Good To Be In Love” to the jazz sounds of “Man, Woman, You and Me” Jon really understands human emotion and seeks to evoke that every time. I definitely recommend this CD. I love it! Also worth mentioning is his earlier stuff. Check out ‘Everything’s All Right’ from the CD ‘Heavy’ that song is funky & sexy!

Jon's music needs no explanation, it only needs to be listened to. Songwriting, singing and gutiar playing come together in a way that make his second record record "Only Human" a must hear. Within the coming year this man will be known by many.
